Shanghai CityScapes
Shanghai is a beautiful and quaint international city filled with contrasts between the ancient and modern ways of life.  We got used to being in China here and made several shorts trips, one over-nighter to Hangzhou and another two hour drive by van to Suzhou.

We also met several wonderful Taiji players from different styles, upgraded our Wu Style from Teacher Xu Guochang; went to the parks where we played Taiji with the retirees; and bought great art for ourselves and friends.

The third picture in this series is one of the many ancient ding/cauldrons used in ancient Chinese Daoist practices, especially Daoist alchemy.  For a thorough presentation of these cauldrons as symbols of the alchemical process in the energetic physiology of acupuncture
