Dennis is now instructing a Taiji Push Hands Class at the Whidden's School of Fitness in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The class is part of the Whidden's school Taiji curriculum and is based on the training program at Yang's Martial Arts Association in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts where both Dennis and Roger Whidden trained. Taiji Push Hands is an intermediary martial arts training rooted in Doaist philosophy where the soft overcomes the hard. It is excellant in providing a safe and fun opportunity for students to learn the basics of all martial arts from a unique and valuable tradition.

The YMAA Push Hands training includes Single and Double Push Hands (stationary and moving), Peng Lu Ji An (stationary and moving), Taiji Symbol Training (Yin and Yang side, stationary and moving), Yin and Yang Side Coiling, as well as free form centering and Push Hands (stationary and moving).

Dennis brings his experience as Assistant Instructor at YMAA as well as his decades of experience in writing on the Taiji principles from an acupuncture and Daoist perspective. Most notably, Dennis' up and coming book, "The Mysterious Gate," details Taiji as the most fundamental concept at the backbone of Daoist healing, philosophy, and meditation. Dennis brings this varied background into each and every class in a way that students can appreciate not only in their martial arts practice but also in their every day lives.

The class meets on Thursdays from 6-7 PM at the Whidden's School of Fitness, 822 Webster Street, Marshfield, MA. Please visit the Whidden's School website for more information at http://www.whiddenschool.com/taiji-qigong. Simply copy and paste this address into your browser and click "enter."
