Part I: The Good and Bad Oils Thursday Evening 7 PM to 9 PM; December 4, 2006 Good oils regulate the Yin-Yang of the entire Body/Mind. Bad oils block this regulation and cause degenerative disease. This lecture will teach you how good and bad oils are produced and show you how to sort through the labeling scams that hide trans-fats and other harmful oils so you can be assured of getting your health needs met. You will also learn why many common, but un-natural, oils can destroy your health. Finally, we will examine the relation between fats and cholesterol and the link between cholesterol and coronary heart disease from a Natural Healing perspective so you will be able to understand how to regulate your cholesterol naturally, and most importantly, protect your heart and over-all health without resorting to harmful drugs.
Part II: Cooked Oils Or Raw Thursday Evening 7 PM to 9 PM; December 11, 2006 In this lecture you will learn why good oils are among the very most important foods you can eat and how you can use them to create health and happiness without destroying them. You will learn the importance of using oils raw and which oils should NEVER be heated, as well as how trans-fats are made purposefully by the oil industry and how they can also be made inadvertently at home. Secondly, you will learn why we should use oils in certain cases to cook with; which oils are ˇ§safeˇ¨ to use in cooking, and HOW to cook ˇ§safelyˇ¨ with them. Finally, we will examine the impact of deep-frying on health.
Part III: Omega 3s and 6s Thursday Evening 7 PM to 9 PM; December 18, 2006 This lecture will show you why the Omega 3s and 6s are so vital for health and how to use them together to regulate the overall balance of our brain, organs, and other tissues in the body. Other topics covered will include Omega 3s in common foods, the Primary Omega 3 sources, the Secondary Omega 3 sources, the best Regular Omega 3 source, and how to overcome conversion difficulties (GLA, EPA, and DHA). Finally, we will examine how to use Omega 3s and 6s to reduce cholesterol naturally, and the importance of Omega 3s in preventing and treating cancer.
